- When travelling to a foreign country, familiarise yourself with local laws and customs of the countries to which you are travelling. Remember while in a foreign country, you are subject to its laws.
- Make sure your passport has at least 9 months validity beyond the return date and that you have all the necessary visas. Make sure your passport has a minimum of 3 blank pages. There is always an additional fee to the norm involved if you need your visa within 14 days. So request your visas as early as possible to avoid those additional charges.
- If you lose your passport while travelling, immediately contact the Embassy or Consulate for assistance.
